The Fall 2025 Northend Street League season will be starting September 4, so now is the time for Northend teams to send me their $50 dues.

I’ll set the due date at Monday, August 25th to give me plenty of time to generate the schedule.

All are welcome. We’ll have free pizza, a 3-strikes tournament with a $100 prize (starts at 8pm), awards presentation (for the Spring 2025 season), and all-around fun.

In line with recent poll results, we’ll expand the number of cash prizes this year to 4. The prizes for first ($300) and second ($150) place remain the same. The prize for 3rd doubles to $100 and the prize for 4th will be the same as the prize for 3rd was last season ($50).

1st = $300

2nd = $150

3rd = $100

4th = $50

The playoffs will remain the same as last season. The top 4 teams in the season-end standings will qualify for playoffs and playoffs will last for two weeks.

February 27th at 7:30pm is opening day for the Spring 2025 season of Northend Street League Pinball.

All teams who share a venue will play a homecoming / civil war match against the other team sharing the venue. Solo teams will be matched up as shown on the schedule.

For league matches, do not login to Stern Insider. This can change game rules and scoring. With some rare exceptions, any player who does so will receive zero (0) points for the game.

If someone notices a Stern Insider login before any balls have been played, then the game may be restarted without penalty. The player(s) who logged into Stern Insider will be responsible for coin drop for everyone to restart unless some or all players agree to help cover it or unless the venue agrees to pay.

Also, if a first time substitute makes this mistake, they will not be disqualified as long as both team’s captains agree to let it slide.

Captains please remind everyone of this rule before each round begins for the first week or two.

This season, I will be importing North End league results into matchplay.events in the same way that Seattle’s Monday Night Pinball does. This means that your IPR may go up (or down) based upon your league play, even if you don’t play in any tournaments. I’m hoping that this leads to more accurate individual and team IPRs for the league.

In order for this to work, I’ll need to know your IFPA id or your matchplay id. Note, if you are using a nickname (e.g. Mittens) on this site, you can continue to use it and it will continue to display in the same way in the weekly league results.

The only difference is that I’ll need to know your IFPA id or matchplay id so that I can attribute your wins and losses to the correct external profile. So, if you use a username / “display name” here that is different than your matchplay / IFPA username, please let me know your matchplay / IFPA id via private message.
